Constantine I. AD 307/310-337. Æ Follis (19mm, 3.28 g, 5h). Rome mint, 3rd officina. Struck AD 320. Cuirassed bust left, wearing high-crested helmet, holding spear over shoulder and shield / VOT/ XV • FEL/ XX RT in three lines within laurel wreath. RIC VII 214 var. (bust right). Dark brown patina with earthen deposits, minor roughness. Near VF. Extremely rare and unpublished.

The published type, with the right facing bust, is already incredibly rare, rated R5 in RIC and only three specimens found in CoinArchives. This type, with the left facing bust, is not recorded in RIC and does not appear in any recent sales records.
