Dated 1541. + FERDINANDVS * D * G * ROM * HVNG * BOEM * DALMA * CROA * REX * (floral spray), Armored figure of Ferdinand on caparisoned horse left; * 1 · 5 · 4 · 1 * in exergue; monogram (Sixtus?) engraved below horse / * FERD * D * G * EL * RO * IM * S * GER * HV * BO * REX * INF * HIS * ARCHID * AVS * ZC * CO * TYR, crowned double-headed eagle facing with wings spread; coat-of-arms on breast, XX on coat-of-arms. Voglhuber 34. Cast and chased as made, monogram engraved on obverse, mount marks. VF. Other similar types exhibit a date of 1560 in the reverse field that is not evident on this example, though it may have been effaced as a result of the chasing. Very rare.
