Latin Rulers of Constantinople. 1204-1261. BI Trachy (26.5mm, 2.87 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. The Theotokos standing facing, orans, with head of Holy Infant on breast / Facing figures of the Emperor, wearing crown and chlamys, and St. George, holding sword, both holding long patriarchal cross set on three steps between them. DOC 14; SB 2034. Dark brown patina, minor edge split, area of weakness on reverse. VF. A nice example for type.
