Commemorative Series. AD 330-354. Æ Follis (17.5mm, 1.88 g, 12h). Contemporary imitation. Pearl-diademed, helmeted, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantinopolis right / Emperor standing right, foot on helmet(?), holding shield and brandishing spear at enemy to left. Dark brown and earthen patina. VF. Overstruck on a Gloria Exercitvs type. A very interesting imitation with no clear prototype but featuring familiar iconography from contemporary official series.
