Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; between legs, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Shamash left. Prieur 970; Leu Web 14, lot 1118 (same obv. die). Toned, light scratch on obverse. VF. Very rare, only a single example known to Prieur and two others in CoinArchives (from a different obverse die), including this coin. |
