Γ OYЄIBIOC TPЄBΩNI ΓAΛΛOC AY, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind; c/m: H in circular incuse / NIKAIEΩN, Tyche seated left on rocks, wearing kalathos, holding grain ears, right hand on rock; at feet, river-god Sagaris swimming left. RG –; RPC IX –; cf. Nomos obolos 20, lot 972 (incorrectly described as Cybele, different obv. legend). For c/m: Howgego 821. Unpublished. Brown patina, roughness, flan crack. Fine. Very rare.

This obverse legend is not recorded for Gallus at Nicaea. In fact, it is only recorded for one very rare coin from Cius, sharing the same obverse die; RPC IX, 234.
