Confronted busts of Caracalla right, laureate, draped and cuirassed, and [Geta left, bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed]; c/m: laureate bust of Caracalla right within oval incuse / Zeus Panamaros on horseback right, holding long scepter, chlamys over shoulder; lighted altar to right. Tompa, Peter, “Damnatio Memoriae,” in The Celator Vol. 17, no. 8, p. 50, fig. 1 (this coin illustrated); cf. SNG von Aulock 2682 (uncertain magistrate). For c/m: Howgego 84. Green-brown patina with patches of red, cleaning scratches. Host Near VF, c/m: Fine. Portrait of Geta erased, Caracalla’s Damnatio Memoriae of Geta.
