Cista mystica, from which serpent emerges, within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; above, KT above monogram (=prytaneis) within wreath; civic monogram to left, serpent-entwined thyrsos to right. Kleiner, Hoard 38; SNG BN 1741. Lightly toned, a little off center on obverse, area of roughness on reverse. Good VF. |
