Angeloni, Francesco. L’Historia Avgvsta Da Givlio Cesare a Constantino il Magno. (Rome, 1685, second edition). Leather, cord bound. 327 pp. Printed on parchment with hundreds of copperplate engravings, many full page. The 1685 edition much more sought after than the original of 1641 and appreciated for the additions and reverses of the medals described by P. Bellorini, nephew of the author. Used, significant damage to spine and back cover, foxing. All pages are largely undamaged other than showing signs of age. Website shipping rates do not apply.
