F. on truncation of arm; COMITIA BURGUND in exergue / UTRIUSQUE MARIS JUNCTIO TRIPLEX, Burgundy seated facing on overturned urn inscribed ARAR from which water flows, holding caduceus in raised hand, resting other on bushels of grain and textile to left, the Loire (marked LIGER on oar), and Seine (marked SEQUAN on urn) river-deities to left, with waters flowing in a channel toward the Rhine (marked RHEN. on urn) to right; DU V below ground line; FOSSIS AB ARARI/AD LIGER.
