Lucius Caesius. 112-111 BC. AR Denarius (19.5mm, 3.95 g, 12h). Rome mint. Youthful, draped bust of Vejovis left, seen from behind, hurling thunderbolt; ROMA monogram to right / Two Lares seated right, each holding a staff; dog standing right between them, head of Vulcan and tongs above. Crawford 298/1; Sydenham 564; Caesia 1; RBW 1140. Attractive cabinet toning with iridescence, small die break on the reverse, a few light scratches and marks. Good VF.
