AEOLIS, Myrina. Ti. Claudius Drusus. AD 20. Æ (18mm, 3.48 g, 1h). Bare head of Drusus right / Laureate and draped bust of Apollo right; before, lyre. RPC I 2425. Dark brown patina, light roughness, slightly off center. VF. Very rare, six known to RPC, only one in Coin Archives.

The coinage of Myrina is very rare during the Julio-Claudian era with this obverse legend being unique to this type. See D. L. Vagi, ‘Tiberius Claudius Drusus (✝ AD 20), Son of Claudius and Urgulanilla’, AJN 22 (2010), pp. 81-92 for a complete explanation of the attribution to Claudius Drusus.br>
