EDOM (IDUMAEA). 4th century BC. AR Quarter Shekel – Drachm (12.5mm, 3.93 g, 8h). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena right, with frontal eye / Owl standing left, head facing; olive spray to right. GTvA 7–8; HGC 10, 616 var. (Owl right); CNG E-418, lot 360. Lightly toned, struck with worn dies, scrapes and scratches, some porosity. Near VF. Very rare with owl left.
