Terracotta amphora. Cyprus, circa 5th century BC. (20.5 cm tall). Wide-bodied design with two squat handles on each side, a short neck and wide rim and mouth. The piece tapers at the bottom to a significantly long tang at the foot. It is displayed on a modern metal stand. Small stress cracks at base of handles, traces of earthen deposits.
