PAMPHYLIA, Side. Circa 400-380 BC. AR Stater (24mm, 10.67 g, 11h). Athena Parthenos standing left, holding owl, leaning against a shield set on ground to right, upon which is propped a spear; pomegranate to left / Apollo, nude but for chlamys draped over arms, standing left, holding branch and bow; altar to lower left; to lower right, bird standing left. Atlan Group V, 72 (O60/R69); SNG BN 639–40; Weber 7364 (same dies). Lightly toned, overstruck on an uncertain issue, areas of weak strike on obverse, off center on reverse. Good VF.
