Claudius. AD 41-54. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.67 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 49-50. Laureate head right / Nemesis walking right, holding out fold of drapery below chin, and holding winged caduceus over serpent before. RIC I 47; von Kaenel Type 28; RSC 61. Good VF, light tone with a hint of golden iridescence around devices. Bold strike and excellent silver quality, bold portrait.
