PONTUS, Amasia. Commodus. AD 177-192. Æ (34mm, 21.93 g, 12h). Dated CY 189 (AD 185/6). Laureate and cuirassed bust right / Commodus on horse riding right, brandishing spear; below, lion advancing right, head upturned left, with spear in jaws; ЄT PΠΘ (date) below. RPC IV online 5447; RG 31. Good, rough brown surfaces.

From the Ken Bressett Collection. Purchased from Walter Sheridan in 2003 for @ $40.
