Head of hero (Alexander or Seleukos?) right, wearing helmet covered with panther skin and adorned with the ear and horns of a bull / Nike standing right, holding wreath that she places on trophy to right; monogram to lower left, ΔI in lower central field. SC 174.4; ESMS S-27; Marest-Caffey Group 2.4; HGC 9, 34. Toned, deposits, some traces of find patina, two small flan flaws on obverse. Good VF. Fine style. |
