Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. Fourrée Denarius (18mm, 3.34 g, 5h). Imitating Lugdunum (Lyon) mint. Bare head right / Capricorn flying right, holding globe between front hooves, IMP XI below. For prototype: cf. RIC I 174; cf. Lyon 29; cf. RSC 147. Toned and brushed, plating breaks behind head and at edge revealing copper core. VF.
