AU CULTIVATEUR LABORIEUX, farmer standing right, resting hand on plow and being crowned by personification of Lyon standing left, resting hand on shield; figures harvesting wheat and fruits in background / COMMUNE PERENNITATIS, Prudence and Hymneneus standing around lighted altar; above, Cupid flying right, holding coat-of-arms; in exergue, SECUNDÆ DELPHINI NUPTI/ M DCC XLVII. Toned, edge bumps. Good VF. An interesting piece. |
