After an original electrotype made by Étienne Bourgey in Paris, circa 1929. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Constantius on horseback right, holding spear, approaching London kneeling in supplication before city gate; below, galley sailing right. Cf. P. Bastien, Le Tresor de Beaurains (dit d’Arras), 218 (for original). With brass plating to replicate original gold now toned, plating worn in areas, some field and edge marks. Good VF. |
