Silvering toned dark gray, areas of flat strike. Near EF.

Ex Classical Numismatic Group Electronic Auction 295 (30 January 2013), lot 486.

BN notes that the obverse is from the 5th emission and the reverse is from the 4th. Stylistically, the engraving of the obverse die of the present specimen shares many characteristics of the obverse dies of the 4th emission illustrated in BN, however it is lacking drapery on the bust which all of those coins have (cf. BN 745-63).

Closing Date and Time: 23 June 2021 at 12:16:00 ET.

All winning bids are subject to an 18% buyer’s fee.
