Divus Marcus Aurelius. Died AD 180. Æ Sestertius (31mm, 24.54 g, 12h). Consecration issue. Rome mint. Struck under Commodus, AD 180. Bare head right / Divus Marcus Aurelius, holding scepter, seated left on back of eagle flying right, holding thunderbolt in talons. RIC III 660 (Commodus); MIR 18, 486-6/10; Banti 50. Brown surfaces with hard green deposits, a few light scratches. Fine.
