Nero Claudius Drusus. Died 9 BC. Æ Sestertius (35mm, 20.92 g, 6h). Uncertain Iberian mint. Struck under Claudius, AD 41-42. Bare head left / Claudius seated left on curule chair, holding branch and resting hand on lap; weapons and armor on either side of globe beneath. Besombes & Barrandon pl. VII, 1, engraver E; cf. RIC I 93 (Claudius, for Rome mint); cf. von Kaenel Type 57 (for Rome mint). Brown surfaces, some porosity. Near VF. Rare western mint issue.
