CILICIA, Tarsus. Trajan Decius. AD 249-251. Æ (34mm, 18.66 g, 6h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Perseus, holding patera and harpa, and Demeter, holding lighted torch with each hand, flanking garlanded altar with bull lying left before; behind altar, upper portion of figure (statue of Trajan Decius?), holding a round shield and spear; to left of altar, tall column surmounted by cult statue of Apollo Lykeios holding wolves by their hind legs. RIC IX 1349.7 (this coin); SNG BN 1767; SNG Levante 1165. Brown patina, roughness, minor flan flaws. Fine.
