Copying an official issue of the Seleukeia on the Tigris II mint, struck from circa 296/5 BC. Laureate head of Zeus right / Athena, holding spear and shield, in quadriga of elephants right; anchor above, trace of control mark to right (?). Cf. SC 130 (for official issue); cf. HGC 9, 18a (same). Dark find patina, pink deposits, cleaning scratches. Good Fine. |
