TROAS, Kolonai. 4th century BC. AR Hemiobol(?) (8mm, 0.35 g). Helmeted head of Athena right / Stellate pattern in dotted square within incuse square. CN Online Type –; HGC 8, –; SNG Arikantürk 418–25 var. (linear square). Lightly toned, granular and rough surfaces. VF.

The attribution of this series to Kolone, though not certain, is based on a similarity of the types to bronze issues of the city bearing its ethnic. However, an attribution to a city in Troas is assured, due to the amount of this type found in the area (cf. SNG Arikantürk 416–33).
