Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, transverse spear in background; no control marks. Thompson –; Müller –; HGC 3, 1753d. Lightly toned. VF. Very rare.

Although this unmarked drachm issue of Lysimachos is unpublished, a well-known obverse die used on drachms of Ephesos of Thompson 168 type (see, e.g., CNG E-485, lot 28) was undoubtedly engraved by the same hand as the die used on the present coin.
