Laureate bust right, wearing aegis on left shoulder / Nilus, raising hand and holding cornucopia, driving biga of hippopotami left; L Iς (date) to upper left; lotus flowers in exergue. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) Supplement pl. 6, 97; K&G –; RPC III 4688.3 (this coin); cf. Emmett 637 (for similar type with Nilus in hippopotamus biga right). Dark green-brown patina, smoothing. Near VF. Extremely rare.
