THRACE, Coela. Lucius Verus. AD 161-169. Æ (23mm, 4.65 g, 1h). Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Prow of galley right, containing two grain ears, two dolphins leaping before. RPC IV.1 Online 17219 corr. (bust); Varbanov –. Earthen brown patina, scratched, edge flaw. Near VF. Very rare. .

RPC describes the bust as wearing “cuirass(?) and paludamentum(?)” but the drapery and cuirass are clear on specimen number six and on the present example.
