Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, monogram-in-circle above grape cluster. Triton XXIX, lot 1; otherwise, unpublished, but cf. Lorber, Pseudo-Chios, for series. Lightly toned, underlying luster. Near EF. Second known tetradrachm for series previously only known for drachms. |
