The DJED pillar represents stability and strength. It is believed that the DJED is a rendering a human backbone. It was originally associated with creation of God“PTAH”, the creator God. He was depicted as a sun disc between his horns. The two URAEI are the royal cobras and they represent the emblem of Lower Egypt, and they are the fiery eyes of “RA “, the supreme sun God. The ancient Egyptians believe that the cobras would spit fire at any approaching enemies.
