This reverse type is known for several rulers in Stratonicaea, issued by multiple magistrates. However, under Caracalla, only two magistrates are known to have struck this type: Flavius Leon and Zosimos II. Leon, son of Alcaios was previously not known to have struck coins for Caracalla. Additionally, this obverse die was previously unknown with this legend.
