Laureate and draped bust of the Senate right, seen from the front / Cult statue of Aphrodite of Aphrodisias standing right on low base, wearing kalathos; within tetrastyle temple with arcuated lintel. MacDonald, Coinage 205 (O246/R– [rev. die unrecorded]); RPC X Online 4748. Brown patina, slight roughness and deposits. VF. Extremely rare, superior to the two specimens known to MacDonald or RPC.
