REPRODUCTIONS, ROMAN IMPERIAL. Constantius I, as Caesar. AD 293-305. Gilt Cast “AV Medallion Multiple” (40mm, 20.17 g, 12h). After an original electrotype of a now-lost Treveri (Trier) mint issue of AD 297 medal from the Arras Hoard, discovered in 1922 and made by Étienne Bourgey in Paris, circa 1929. Laurete, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Constantius on horseback right, holding spear, approaching London kneeling in supplication before city gate, LON below; below, galley sailing right on Thames; PTR. Cf. RIC VI 34 = Beaurains 218 = Kent-Hirmer pl. 152, 585 = Toynbee pl. 8, 4 (for original). With brass plating to represent original gold now toned, field marks, plating worn at places. Good VF.
