Contorniates. Late 4th-5th centuries AD. Æ Contorniate (40mm, 31.02 g, 6h). In the name of Divus Trajan. DIVO TRAIA NO AVGVSTO, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; leaf engraved in right field / EVTIMI NICA, Eutimius standing facing, holding bridles of his horses Turificator and Astutus; below, TVRIFICATOR ASTVRTVS. Alföldi, Kontorniat 383 (dies 129/198). Green and red-brown patina, scuff on cheek, areas of corrosion, smoothed. Near VF. Very rare.
