Contorniates. Late 4th-5th centuries AD. Æ Contorniate (35mm, 25.05 g, 5h). Olympia, Mother of Alexander the Great. Veiled bust of Olympia left, holding scepter; P engraved in left field / [ALEΞ-ANDP]-O CEBACAЄYC, Alexander the Great seated right on throne, resting hand on shield decorated with warrior and captive(?); cuirass to lower left, helmet to lower right. Alföldi, Kontorniat 61 (dies 20/11). Brown and green surfaces, roughness. Near VF. Rare.
