Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Æ Sestertius (32mm, 20.82 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck AD 210. Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Septimius, Caracalla, and Geta on platform, guarded by lictor standing before platform and holding fasces, addressing two soldiers who hold a signum and an aquila; between the soldiers, head and forepart of horse. RIC IV 800b; Banti –. Brown patina, double struck on reverse, flan crack. Near VF. Very rare.
