Draped bust left / Mars, naked, standing facing, head right holding sword and uncertain object; on the right, Venus seated left, offering helmet to Mars; to far left, cuirass. Mittag, Römische II 278 (V143/R210); Gnecchi II, p. 39, 11, pl. 67, 9 (this medallion cited and illustrated); MIR 18, –; Banti 149 (this medallion cited and illustrated). Brown surfaces, areas of corrosion, smoothing. VF. Extremely rare.
