ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P M TR P [XXIII], laureate and cuirassed bust right / COS IIII in exergue, the emperor stands to the right with a scepter in his left hand; in front of him Victory erects a trophy; to the right in the foreground, Alexandria (or Africa) reclines on a rock to the left, wearing an elephant headdress and holding two grain ears in her left hand; with her right hand she strokes a lion.
