Leontius. 695-698. Æ 30 Nummi (11.5mm, 2.36 g, 12h). Rome mint. Crowned and bearded facing bust, holding globus cruciger / Large XXX; ROm; all retrograde. DOC 25; MIB 38; SB 1352. Dark green patina. Near VF. Very rare. Interesting with the reverse retrograde. Only one example in CoinArchives (Roma E-Sale 102, 1424 (hammer £1000)). This coin significantly superior.
