IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS [III], laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Trajan left / Bacchus reclining in biga drawn by panthers left; to right, cupid flying left, holding grape bunch; to left, satyr standing right, holding a pedum; two maenads in background. Alföldi, Kontorniat 261 and pl. 112, 6 (this example). Brown and green patina, cleaning scratches, roughness, ragged edge. Fine. Extremely rare.
