Tetricus II. Romano-Gallic Emperor, AD 273-274. Antoninianus (16.5mm, 1.14 g, 6h). Contemporary imitation. Copying an official issue of the Treveri (Trier) mint, struck under Tetricus I, circa AD 273. Radiate and draped bust right / Sacrificial implements: from left to right, simpulum, jug and lituus, jug is fluted with handles. Cf. RIC V.4 773 (for likely prototype); cf. AGK 5b (same). Dark brown patina. EF. A well made contemporary imitation with the sprinkler on the reverse omitted.
