Laureate and draped bust left / Eagle standing facing, head right, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; L I H (date) across upper field. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 8954; K&G –; RPC IV.4 1687.5 (this coin); Emmett 1494.18 (R3). Dark brown surfaces with spots of green, light porosity. Near VF. Rare variety with bust left.
