EGYPT, Alexandria. Trajan. AD 98-117. Æ Drachm (33.5mm, 25.87 g, 12h). Dated RY 13 (AD 109/10). Laureate bust right, aegis on left shoulder / Harpocrates of Canopus with crocodile body, standing left, wearing pschent, raising finger to lips and holding cornucopia; flanked by two garlanded bases, to left, topped with hydria, to right, topped with tetrastyle temple with frieze of uraei; L IΓ (date) across field. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 903 (same rev. die); K&G 27.232 var. (bust); RPC III 4396A; Emmett 500.13. Red-brown patina, trace deposits, obverse flan flaw. Near VF. Extremely rare, three known to RPC.
