DECAPOLIS, Gadara. Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. Æ (18mm, 5.08 g, 12h). Dated Actian Era 34 (AD 3/4). Bare head right / Turreted, veiled, and draped bust of Tyche right; L ΛΔ (date) behind. Spijkerman 9; RPC I 4810; Rosenberger 10; Sofaer 9; Dow, ACTTB, p. 158 (this coin). Earthen brown patina, roughness, edge flaw. Near VF. Extremely rare, only two recorded in RPC.
