CYPRUS, Koinon of Cyprus. Caracalla. AD 198-217. Æ (32mm, 18.20 g, 7h). Struck AD 211-217. Laureate head right / Temple of Paphian Aphrodite with three bays, center bay surmounted by star and crescent, side bays surmounted by doves; in central bay, conical stone surmounted by ornate top, candelabrums in side bays; walled and paved, semi-circular courtyard in foreground. RPC V.3 Online 69933; Parks 25; Dow, ACTTB, p. 182 (this coin). Red-brown surfaces with earthen deposits, porosity. Good Fine.
