Crowned bust left; scepter to left / + GODRED ON [S]E[FTI?], cross pattée, with annulet at center and pellet-in-annulet in each quarter. BMC –; North 864; SCBC 1269. Usual areas of weak strike, bent and straightened with associated fractures, official edge snick. Near VF. Extremely rare. Allen records the moneyer Godred only for type iv and only at the mint of Shaftesbury for Henry. |
