ROMAN GLASS. Roman. 3rd - 4th centuries AD. (10.5 cm tall x 3.5 cm diameter). A mold formed toiletries flask with a flat foot, slightly tapered, cylindrical body and rounded shoulder. The neck extends centrally and terminates in a rounded, lopsided lip that is slightly beveled. A honeycomb pattern is molded int the body of the piece, showing a slight twist towards the top portion of the body. Earthen patina over light green glass. Intact. |
