ARABIA, Bostra. Trajan Decius. AD 249-251. Æ (24mm, 8.88 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Tyche standing facing, wearing kalathos, holding scepter surmounted by trophy and cornucopia, left foot on small crouching figure; to right, Marsyas standing left, raising hand and holding wineskin over shoulder. Kindler 49; Spijkerman 64; RPC IX 2215; Rosenberger 55; Sofaer –. Red-brown surfaces, reverse metal flaw. Near VF. Extremely rare, only four recorded in RPC.
